Day 2 was extremely busy..The students set off early morning to Kallang to participate in Kayaking. They learnt how to manoeuvre a kayak as well as the benefit of TEAMWORK. In the afternoon, they took part in learning about basic first aid, ropes and lashes and backwoods cooking. The teachers were most impressed in their ability to try new things using a positive and encouraging attitude as well as their ability to work as team. Great day Grade 4!!!
The students spent the morning establishing goals and agreements for their camp groups. They also played some ice beaker type games as well as learnt some camp chants and songs. In the afternoon, the students participated in 3 different ropes courses where they overcame their fears, pushed themselves to new heights and learnt about encouraging one another in various situations. Great start to Day 1
The students in G4 presented their findings in a day event - Human Body Exhibition. They shared their personal inquiries, their information, models and interactive games which outlined their new understandings about how the body systems are interconnected. The students really enjoyed presenting their tri-boards and asked if they could do it all again!!!!
